Sorry for being so slack over Christmas. We had intended on doing a little Christmas video etc but it just never happened. We did take photos though and we will upload them in the next few days.
Just a quick update on Ashling. She has made great progress over the Christmas period. The doctors have been able to reduce her oxygen, and finally, there seems to be an end in sight!
More on her progress over the next week. It's a gorgeous day and I want to get out for a walk while she's asleep!
Hope you all had an enjoyable New Year's Eve.
that is great news. she is looking a lot bigger and stronger. also, its good to here you can still appreciate the world outside. wishing you all, all the best and hopefully a very happy 2008

Hey there Ger, Caroline and Ashling,
ReplyDeleteWe're delighted to see ye all again on the footage.. It's brilliant that ye have uploaded this for everyone.
It was fantastic to see you all when we were in Auckland over xmas and it was the highlight of our trip to be introduced to Ashling who is soo soo beautiful and she sure is a real munchkin.. Ye're so on the road home now which is great.. Look forward to hearing more over the next few weeks and thanks again for everything.
Love

Hi Ger, Caroline and Ashling
ReplyDeletejust to let you know that snow is falling in county clare and across the irish isle. woke up this morning to a clear white blanket. lovely to look at - picture perfect - but a different story for driving/walking on as it had frozen underneath in places (and of course bricklaying is out of the question so pete gets extra hols while i am back at work)!!!! i am sure it will be gone as quick as it arrived in true irish style. Great talking to ye over the hols. Love Peter and Breda
Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to the three of you...Sorry we have not yet made it in to give Ashling her Christmas Present..promise she will get it before she heads off to school (tee hee)... It was fabulous to spend a couple of days with Tom and Lavina (crazy how we live in such a small world).. Love and prayers to you all as per usual...Love The Fells xxx
ReplyDeleteWow, how cute does my best friend Ashling look in those new piccies. I would imagine her excellent reading skills are all down to the excellent physio/OT/speech therapy she's been getting... Look forward to seeing you on Wednesday - hope Ashling's practicing her smiles for me (or at least my glasses)! Good news all the way now, let's hope. Good work Team Collins! Love Vicky (physio).
